Tissot was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son, Charles-Émile in 1853. The brand has a long history of innovation and technical excellence as well as creating and selling quality Swiss watches for all people, not just the elite.

Tissot was the first to introduce mass-produced pocket watches and the first dual-time pocket watch in 1853. They also innovated with the first anti-magnetic watch in 1930. Tissot was also the first to make watches out of plastic, stone, mother of pearl, and even wood – establishing the trend to alternative material construction so often used in high-horology watches today.

Tissot has been the official Timekeeper of the NBA since 2015 and MotoGP™ since 2001 as well as being directly involved with other sports such as cycling and ice hockey.

There’s a Tissot for everyone. A strong brand history, excellence in quality and innovation, and a range of designs and complications to suit any purpose.
